WELCOME!
For more than 30 years, Clements NJROTC has been preparing and training cadets to become better leaders and citizens. Everyday, our cadets work together to improve the foundation of the unit and push each other out of our comfort zones. We aim to succeed, and we won’t back down under any circumstance.
Our cadets are known to be superior both academically and physically. Moreover, we consistently place high in every drill competition. Every team works hard in both school and out to bring back trophies and awards. Our physical fitness team is filled with outstanding cadets that bring everything they have, even when they’re not competing. At every competition, we excel at academics, routinely placing in the top three (usually first) . Drill teams prove the amount of commitment and dedication our cadets have for the unit, and it shows how much we work as a team.
Along with competing at drill competitions, we volunteer at several events throughout the school year including Open House, Academic Excellence, Wreaths Across America, and at the Veteran's Day Parade. Our unit is well respected in the state of Texas and we are frequently asked for assistance at several events. Clements NJROTC is always ready to lend a helping hand.
Despite the amount of hard work we put in, we always have time to socialize and have fun. Each semester, we have picnics where we spend a few hours in the outdoors playing games and hanging out with our fellow cadets. Each spring, we have an orienteering/camping trip where cadets learn to find their way around using only a map and a compass, and have many team building exercises to bond and strengthen ties between each other. Annually, we also hold a Navy Ball where we pay tribute to our seniors, say a few toasts, and enjoy our night dancing. We believe socializing among our peers is the best way to strengthen the unit, so we try our best to hold events specifically for this purpose.
Each and every day, our cadets strive to improve our unit to be among the finest units. We've been superior for almost 30 years, and we intend on growing further to get to the top.
